An Iowa woman has been arrested by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office on Friday after she allegedly debarked multiple dogs in Lancaster County.

Denise Felling, 55, is expected to face eight charges of animal cruelty and has been charged with debarking four dogs: a Doberman Pinscher, a Husky, a Beagle mix and a Spaniel mix.

Felling had debarked the dogs for an unlicensed breeder in an unsanitary barn in Pennsylvania by shoving a rod-like object down the dogs’ throats multiple times, causing damage to their vocal cords.
