A man in Hialeah, Florida, was arrested after he was seen abusing his neighbor’s Husky while providing obedience training.

The man, later identified as Victor Suero, was walking the dog, named Winter, along with his own dog, Han, when all of a sudden he grabbed Winter by the collar, swung her around in the area and choked her, according to Detective Jose Torres.

But the violence didn’t end there. Suero then grabbed her by the collar again and choked her a second time before slamming her to the ground.

This left Winter motionless on the ground and “whining in pain.”

Luckily, the whole incident was caught on video, which helped police locate the suspect. He has since been arrested and charged with two counts of Animal Cruelty with the Intent to Injure or Kill.

Thankfully, Winter is doing ok and has been reunited with her owner. Suero’s dog is also ok and is currently with Miami-Dade Animal Services.
